Thomas Bubanovich Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Bubanovich (West Frankfort, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Martha (Filipiak); and his brother Stephen Paul. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his sons, Stephen (Gina) and Michael (Jennifer); his granddaughters, Alyssa, Cara, Emma, Vivian and Josephine; his great grandchild Jackson Dean; and his brother Louis Eugene Banner (Sharon, family: Tina, Doug Grounds, Beth, Glen Weeks).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Union Funeral Home (213 E Oak St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John 's Catholic Church (703 E Main St, West Frankfort, IL 62896).
Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, or to the MDS Foundation for Myelodysplastic Syndrome.
