He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Stark and Nancy Stark (Hammer); his spouse Ermajean "Jean" Phillips; his grandson Ben; and his brothers, Avon, Charles and Roy.
He is survived by: his children, Pat Brown (Mike), Larry Stark (Peggy) and Mary McGarrah (Bob); his grandchildren, Tom Stark (George), Jacob Stark (Michelle), Roy McGarrah (Jamie), Mike Stark (Layna), Andrew Brown (Nikki), Tricia McGarrah (Rachel), Steve Stark, Bess Brown, Chelsea Zychowski (Brad) and Chris Stark (Megan); and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Ethan, Adelyn, Sophia, Bruce, Penny, Gemma, Ellie-May, Cora and Lincoln.
