She is survived by: her husband Larry Akers; and her children, Robin Pieper (Cody) of Wever, IA, Stacey Thurman (Jayson Barnes) of Wayland, MO and Rusty Thurman of West Point, IL. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
