He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ristvedt and Ruth Ellen Ristvedt (Berger); and his granddaughter Sara Jane Hammell. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Chris Ristvedt (Kim), Cory Ristvedt (Shannone) and Carrie Hammell (Brent); his sister Karen Townsend; and his niece Julie Huls. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ingram Meridith Funeral Home (201 E Church St, West Salem, IL 62476). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
