He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola Rumoro and Rosa Rumoro; and his brothers, Pietro Rumoro (Pat) and Pasquale Rumoro (Rosemary). He is survived by: his children, Rosetta Amendola (Bruno), Fran Muraca (Nick), Silvana Mueller (Ed), Adriana Rumoro, Nick Rumoro (Dawn) and Salvatore Rumoro (Karen); his grandchildren, Raffaele Amendola (Marci), Luigi Amendola (Kristi), Jennifer Miller (Wes), Anthony Muraca, Edward Mueller (Celina), Matt Mueller, Anne Mueller, Charlie Mueller, Carmela Kinsella (Riley), Anna Rumoro and Michael Rumoro; and his great grandchildren, Vincent Amendola, Jessica Amendola, Giuliana Amendola, Sophie Amendola, Ava Amendola, Giada Miller, Gianna Miller, Luca Mueller and Amelia Kinsella.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Domitilla Catholic Church (4940 Washington St, Hillside, IL 60162). An entombment will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
