He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy; his children, James (Theresa), Michael, Colm (Debbie) and Brian; his grandchildren, Sean, Ellie, Ryan (Ellie), Abbi and Jack; and his siblings, Maura Kneeland (late Desmond), Patrick (Kathleen), James (Stephanie), Nora McShane (Thomas), Breege McGinley (late Michael) and Frank Maloney.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 7th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A prayer was held on Friday, August 7th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Infant Catholic Church (1601 Newcastle Ave, Westchester, IL 60154). A burial was held on Friday, August 7th 2026 at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
