We bid farewell to Eva M. Gerke of Western Springs, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 24, 2025 at the age of 102. Eva touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert J. Gerke; her parents, Andrew Kartje and Magdalene Kartje; and her sister Frances Kowske (late Joseph). She is survived by: her children, Francine E. Waters (late David J.) of Maryland and Robert D. "Bob" Gerke (Kris) of Naperville; her grandchildren, Eve Waters (Scott Brown), Andrew Waters, Sarah King (Joseph) and Stephen Gerke (Caitlin); and her great grandchildren, Patrick, David Brown, Lucas, Brooklyn, Jackson, Elizabeth "Libby", Kyle King, Ellison Gerke, Jameson and Addison Gerke.
