He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Derrick Knudsen (Maria) and Debbie Knudsen (Timothy Metzger); his grandparents, Judith Knudsen, Roger Knudsen and Lois Deno; his siblings, Jacob Metzger and Emily Metzger; his stepsiblings, Matt Metzger, Sarah Metzger and Andrew Metzger; his aunts, Denise Grazian (Michael) and Dawn Kannon; and his cousins, Maren MacHannaford (Juan), Taryn Kannon, Carter Kannon and Mason Kannon.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (9035 Grant Ave, Brookfield, IL 60513).
