He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Marie Brown; his children, Michael Patrick Brown (Christina), Kaitlin Colleen Cleal (Reilly) and Connor James Brown (Christina); his grandchild Barron Peter Brown; his children, Kennedy Kathleen Cleal, Rory Lee Cleal, Hazel Athena Brown and Violet Swift Brown; his brother James Martin Brown; and his sister-in-law Sue Caroline Brown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, reflecting Michael's lifelong commitment to God.
