He was predeceased by : his parents, Nicholas Paul Karas and Marguerite Dolores Karas (Olson). He is survived by : his wife Laura Ann Karas (Kersten); his children, Allannah, Trevor (Eileen), Anselm (Amanda), Olivia Ptak (Nathan), Francesca, Mary, Dominic, Faustina, Athanasius and Avila; his grandchildren, Jude, Celine, Becket, Marguerite, Finnegan, Rowan, Campion, Lila, Noli, Emma and Penelope; his sister Maria Despaltro (Gary); his nieces and nephews, Samuel, Milagrosa and Stella; his brother Tom (Amy); and his nephews, Ford, Jasper and Augustus.
