He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathoo Balaney and Lachmi Balaney; and his sister Maya. He is survived by: his spouse Jaishree Balaney; his child Bhavna Balaney; his son-in-law Adam Kost; his grandchildren, Ajay and Ayan Kost; his siblings, Jawahar Balaney and Subhash Balaney; and his nieces and nephews, Samir Balaney, Ruchi Balaney, Seema Balaney, Deepu Balaney, Sucheta Dunigan and Phillip Dunigan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and good friends.
