He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debbie Lanenga; his children, Jay Lanenga (Holly), Becky Hoffman (Chris) and Mike Lanenga (Erin); his parents, Joy Lanenga and Jack Lanenga Sr.; his grandchildren, Addison, Alyse, Bailey Lanenga, Leah, Hannah, Grace, Levi Hoffman, Ryne, Alex and Lennox Lanenga; his siblings, Jim Lanenga (Laura), Joe Lanenga (Michael Peters) and Jan Boonstra (Pete); and his sister-in-law Cheryl Deckinga (Bob). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church (149 W Brush Hill Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
