He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Gene, Patrick (Jennifer) and Samantha; his grandchildren, Abigail Cannon and Jackson Jagger; his brother Joshua (Cheryl); and his aunt Judith.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Modell Funeral Home (7710 S Cass Ave, Darien, IL 60561).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's name to Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions (VETS) or the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation.
