We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2022, at the age of 82, John Grubb of Westville, Illinois, born in Georgetown, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brother Jerry Grubb; his son-in-law Randy Thornton; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Murphy, John Galyen, Robert Galyen, Clyde Morden and Sandra Hart.

He is survived by : his children, John Robert Grubb II and Shelly Thornton; his grandchildren, Trisha Brooks (Jon), Ben Thornton (Lexi), Harrison Grubb, Mikayla Grubb and Jerome White; his great grandchildren, Oliver Thornton and Eden Brooks; his sister Mary Murphy; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Grubb, Connie Morden, Carol Galyen, Judy Hammonds (Danny), Pam Depratt (Bob), Claudia Galyen, Jim Galyen (Janie), Don Galyen (Judy) and Ron Hart.

Memorial donations may be given in his name to donor's choice of charity.
