With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth M. Neuman of Westville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hovey Rhoades and Beulah McCoy Rhoades; her husband Robert W. "Bob" Neuman; her daughter Phyllis Neuman; and her daughter-in-law Nita Neuman.
She is survived by: her children, Willliam Robert Neuman of Fairmount, Illinois and Marilyn Pettigrew (Jim) of Westville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Laura Nobak, William Neuman, Mary Jo Gentrup (Dale), Robert Neuman and David Pettigrew (Alicia); and her sister Shirley Bailey. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Catlin United Methodist Church (106 W Vermilion St, Catlin, IL 61817). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
