As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Branham and Ida Gritton Branham; his wife Sue; his siblings, Richard Branham, Pat Shaffer and Marylou High; and his pet Lucy.
He is survived by: his sister Darlene Boen (Roger); and his sibling's children, Rob Boen (Stacy) and June Hatch (Harry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews that earned him an honorary grandfather.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (414 S State St, Westville, IL 61883). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Danville National Cemetery (1900 E Main St, Danville, IL 61834).
