She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Friesen and Adina Friesen; and her brother Murray Friesen. She is survived by: her siblings, Ken Friesen (Debbie), Chris Renwick and Warren Friesen (Linda); and her nieces and nephews, Stephen, Rachel, Charity, Peter, Bekah and Matthew. She is also survived by 9 great nephews and nieces.
In the last decade of her life, Arlene faced Alzheimer's disease with grace.
