He was predeceased by: his wife Lynn; his parents, Clifford Brook and Naomi Vanden Brook; and his brother William Vanden Brook. He is survived by: his children, Jim (Diane), Mary Sherwin (Bill), Jean Jackson (Jack), Ellen Heyer (Chuck), Cathy Blaeser (Pete), John (Kim), Sarah Marinc (Jim) and Greg (Tina); his grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Brian, Brittany, Sarah, Jessica, Rachel, Andrew, Rebecca, Dale, Clifford (Raban), Clinton, Catherine, Charlie, Gerrit, Henry, Anton, Seth, David, Daniel, Holly, Anna, Matthew, Sean, Teddy, Gavin and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Calliope, Auberon, Ivy, David, Annabelle, Raphael and Otto; and his sister Gerry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
