He is survived by : his children, Richard Olson, Christina Brumfield (David), Karen Ennen (Douglas), David Olson (Kathy) and Nancy Hixon (Daniel); his grandchildren, Eric Olson (Judy), Amy Kohley (William), David Brumfield (Rachel), Lauren Self (Ryan), Noel Williams (Chad), Danni Buettner (Mike) and Elizabeth Boes (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Jackson Kohley, Will Kohley, Joe Kohley, Alice Kohley, Jeremy Self, Adam Self, Jade Williams, Eve Williams, Rose Buettner, Eric Boes and Henry Brumfield. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

“I’m so sorry for your loss. David lived a long life. I just wanted to share with you that one of the clearest teachings of God’s Word is that dead loved ones will return to life. (John 5: 28,29) During this difficult time, a strong hope in God’s promises will help you to endure. And through endurance, you will experience that grand future in which Jehovah will “give you the requests of your heart.” He will satisfy “the desire of every living thing.” (Psalm 37:4) Things will get better soon.”
