He was predeceased by: his father Micheal; his wife Ann; and his sisters, Mena Rounds (late Charles) and Gert Forney (late Norman). He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Glaser (Howard) and Diane Cilla Johnson (Raymond); his grandchildren, Michael Hnilica (Jan), T. J. Hnilica (Angela), Jill Fletcher, Ken Johnson (Laura) and Kristina Getty (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Caleb, Kaylee, Skyler, Evelyn and Willow; and his sister Connie Strom (late Lou). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
