He is survived by: his children, Sharon Heggeland (Paul), Linda Wit and Stephen Wit (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Jake Heggeland (Molly), Britta Heggeland, Jared Heggeland (Megan), Isaac Wit, Isabel Wit, Ingrid Wit and Ivy Wit; his great grandchild Lainey Heggeland; and his brother Larry Wit.
