Irene Bland Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Bland (Wheaton, Illinois), who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Bland to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James O'Shea and Helen O'Shea. She is survived by: her sons, Eric "Ric" Peterson (Nancy) and Doug Peterson (Nancy); her grandchildren, Jeff Gullang (Jessica), Kristin (Gullang), Gross (Jason), Matthew Peterson (Megan), Philip Peterson (Caroline) and Carrie Peterson (Tracy); her great grandchildren, Makenzie, Nathan, Katelyn, Aaron, Abby, Molly, Max, Asher, Owen, Jackson, Joshua, Sofía and Tomás; and her husband Harvey Bland.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams-Kampp Funeral Home (430 E Roosevelt Rd, Wheaton, IL 60187). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
