He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard McGovern and Edna McGovern; his brother Dan; and his sister-in-law Sue McGovern. He is survived by : his wife Diane Rech; his children, Melanie McGovern and Patrick McGovern (Diana); his siblings, Mike, Tim (Reena), Brian McGovern (Rita) and Katie McGovern; and his sister-in-law Pat McGovern.
