With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Pickert (Wheaton, Illinois), who passed away on January 31, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Pickert and Eileen Pickert; and his brother Thomas Pickert. He is survived by: his wife Denise Pickert; his children, Eric Pickert (Nikki Wagner), Cheryl Dempsey (Chris Dempsey) and Brett Pickert; his grandsons, Frankie and Freddy Pickert; his siblings, George Pickert (Margie Pickert) and Kathleen Sieja (Ted Jensen); and his pet Bruno. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).
