With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Lavin of Wheaton, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Velva Welch (Exline) and Saul Raymond Welch; and her granddaughter Shannon Caba. She is survived by: her husband Ronald T. Lavin; and her children, Janet Schopen (Joe), Joyce Mansfield (Don), Jean Fish (Dave), Jodi Keller (Andy) and Jennifer Vidal (Brad). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
