John Ray Shelton Obituary

In the sacred silence of farewell, John Ray is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John Ray's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Shelton and Arlene; his brother-in-law Merrill Beightol; and his nephews, Kevin Beightol and Mark Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sisters, Jane Clark (James) and Martha Beightol; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Russell and Sheryll Luxton (John). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews, and one great great niece.
