It is with sadness that the passing of Kathleen M. Knaus of Wheaton, Illinois is shared. Kathleen, born on August 5, 1934, passed away on May 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Kathleen will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Kathleen by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Kathleen is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Kathleen’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald E. Knaus. She is survived by: her children, Steve Knaus, Charlotte Monhart (Jim), Marilyn Gruber (John) and Diane Bojic (Steve); and her grandchildren, Colleen Fitzgerald (Shane), Clare Wierzel (Matthew), Matthew Monhart (Kaleigh), Maureen Knaus and Alyssa Knaus. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews.
