She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhard Strai and Anna Marie Strai; and her husband Dr. E. Paul Gieser. She is survived by: her children, Linn Gieser, Julie Peel (David) and Jon Gieser (Sarah). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
