Louise T. Groe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise T. Groe of Wheaton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louise T. Groe to pay them a last tribute.
Though Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Larsen and Theodora Larsen; and her husband Edward Groe. She is survived by: her children, Susan Beck (Robert), David Groe (Vicki), Steve Groe, Timothy Groe (Lesley) and Lynnette Pokorny (Donald). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hultgren Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Ridgewood Cemetery (9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
