Marilyn Penland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Penland of Wheaton, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marilyn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Steven Penland; her children, David Penland and Leah Penland; her parents, Charles Spangle and Jane Spangle; her siblings, Richard Spangle (Marva), Barbara Gebhardt and Margaret Rockey; and her nieces and nephews, Laurie Regacho and Chad Rockey.
