He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Mayer and Adelaide Mayer; his wife Shirley; his grandson Zachary Young; and his brothers, Robert Mayer (late Myrtle) and Anthony D'Ambrose (Donna).
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Mayer (Bob), Janice McKinley (Rick), Bonnie Young (Jimmy), Diane Largent (Curt) and Daniel Mayer (Tyese); and his sister Carol Jaeger (John). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
