She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Kroehnke; her sons, Robert Kroehnke (Lisa) and John Kroehnke; her granddaughters, Megan and Katie; her brother Joseph Bricker; her nieces, Leah Bricker and Sarah Putrim; and her nephew Joseph Bricker.

Polly's family would like to thank everyone at Arden Court in Glen Ellyn, Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville and the entire team at Heartland Hospice for the compassion and care that Polly received during her 6 year battle with Alzheimer's.

“I was so honored to care for Polly at Arden Courts in Glen Ellyn. She was a lovely lady, always making us smile. She was also blessed with a such beautiful family that we were privileged to know, especially Bob. When Polly would hear Bob's voice, she would always say, "Is that my Bob?", and would light up the room with her smile when she saw him. They so loved each other. God bless them both that they are together again. God bless their beautiful family as well.”
