He is survived by: his wife Sally; and his children, Dave Bintz (Margaret), Kathy Bintz (David Garratt) and Ellen Bintz Vivoda (Mike). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gary United Methodist Church (224 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gary United Methodist Church in Verne's memory.
