He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Bierman and Agnes Bierman (Kinkelaar); his wife Marlene Rose Hinterscher; his son Timothy Bierman; his son-in-law Dale Pruemer; his siblings, Arthur Bierman, Lucille Probst, Clarice Probst and Estella Bierman; and his brothers-in-law, Herman Joe Hinterscher, Allan Hinterscher (Dee Dee) and LeRoy Hinterscher.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Platz (Mike) of Sigel, Linda Pruemer of Teutopolis, Samuel Bierman (Stacie) of Island Grove and Cynthia Konkel (Allen) of Teutopolis; his daughter-in-law Lori Bierman of Island Grove; his grandchildren, Stephanie Cox, Michelle Paine (Austin), Natalie Bierman, Tyler Platz (Paige), Alyssa Kessler (Adam), Bailey Meyer (Cory), Maci Westfall (Cory), Jared Pruemer (Karli), Connor, Reid, Griffin Bierman, Derek and Emily Konkel; his sister Loretta Uthell; and his siblings-in-law, Marcella Bierman, Melvin Probst, Delbert Hinterscher (Anne), Franklin Hinterscher (Hilda), Sandra Hinterscher and Mary Hinterscher. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (16987 N 200th St, Teutopolis, IL 62467). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jasper County 4-H Foundation, Meals on Wheels, or charity of the donor's choice.
