He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Stecker and Anita Stecker (Bizzotto); and his brother John C. Stecker (Marilyn). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Campeol; his sibling Jerry Stecker; his siblings-in-law, Laurie Stecker, Gary Campeol (Jill), Craig Campeol (Dawn) and Paul Cafaro (Donna); and his godchildren, Ken, Jim Schneider and Julie Thober.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kolssak Funeral Home (189 S Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling, IL 60090). Viewing will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic School (411 N Wheeling Rd, Prospect Heights, IL 60070). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church (411 N Wheeling Rd, Prospect Heights, IL 60070). A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
