He was predeceased by: his parents, William Young and Dorothy Young (Vandy). He is survived by: his wife Susan Frederick; his children, Heather Young (Mike Kuhlin), Jeremy Young (Amber) and Lindsey Sanchez (late Carlos); his grandchildren, Tara Skott, Jake, Addyson Kuhlin, Lucas, Noah Young, Jayden Young and Isabella Sanchez; his sister Patricia Robinson; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Frederick, Robert Frederick (Marianne), Nancy Davidoff (Rami), Jeff Frederick, Beth Barber (Michael) and George Frederick.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kolssak Funeral Home (189 S Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling, IL 60090). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
