She was predeceased by: her husband George Zafer; and her parents, Angelo Armonda and Clara Armonda (Decina). She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Zafer (Laurie), Michael Zafer, Andrea Evans (Cameron) and Catherine Zafer-Fredericks (Randy); her grandsons, Nicholas and Andrew; her niece Dia (Daniel); and her cousin Gary Zullo (Betty).
