He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ricard and Clare Tomal; his son Michael; and his siblings, Clare Andres (late Jim) and Cathleen Dohmeier (late David).

He is survived by: his spouse Andrea; his children, Lynnae Derry (Mark) and Todd; his grandsons, Winston and Maxwell; and his brothers, William and Paul. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
