It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Settles of White Hall, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Settles to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Seymoure and Ada Heberling Seymoure; her spouse Glenn Keith Settles; and her siblings, Linda Suttles, Peggy Simpson, William, Larry, David, Phillip and Harold Seymoure.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Stoddard (Delbert) of Girard, Timothy of White Hall and Roger Settles of White Hall; and her siblings, Lora Walker (Jerry), Mary Jane Norris, Judy Caskey (Richard), Carla Hillis, Cathy Griffith (John) and Ronald Seymoure. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Airsman - Hires Funeral Home - White Hall (234 N Main St, White Hall, IL 62092). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Tree Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the White Hall Township Library.
