He is survived by: his wife Annette Tillery of Roodhouse; his brother Charles Schofield (Julie) of Florida; his children, Christopher Schofield (Mary) of Springfield, Lee Schofield (Julie) of Monticello and Laurye Davis (Charlie) of Greenfield; his stepdaughters, Miranda Dawdy of Roodhouse, Monica Dawdy of Lorena, TX and Melissa Vedder of Murrayville; and his grandchildren, Alicia Schofield (Ravinder Shankesi), Shawn Krause (Drew), Natalie Stevanus, Jordan Davis, Kendra Johnson (David), Cassandra McClard (Austin), Austin Hamilton (Elizabeth), Lauren Dawdy (Brendon), Olivia Asta, Jacob Fife, Sommar Vedder, Sydney Vedder, Spencer Vedder, Sloan Vedder and Nicholas. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Airsman - Hires Funeral Home - White Hall (234 N Main St, White Hall, IL 62092). A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Richwood Cemetery (1052 E Roodhouse Rd, Roodhouse, IL 62082).
