He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter M. Dawdy (Lester) and Martha V. Allen Dawdy; his wife Thelma D. Lorton of White Hall; his sons, Walter of White Hall, Lester Scott of White Hall and Paul Dawdy of White Hall; and his siblings, Larry Patton (Toni) of Walkerville and Virginia Harris (William) of Roodhouse.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hillview Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Hillview Baptist Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
