Tabatha Helm Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tabatha Helm of White Heath, Illinois, born in Manchester, New Hampshire, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 56. For Tabatha is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Kim Mathews. She is survived by: her husband Greg Helm; her children, Lindsey (MJ) and Aaron; her grandson Kayden; her parents, Norm Mathews (Rosemary) and Janet Peoples; her brother Chris Mathews; and her stepbrother Ethan Foss (Alyssa). She is also survived by many family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (710 N Neil St, Champaign, IL 61820). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Vineyard Church (1500 N Lincoln Ave, Urbana, IL 61801).
In lieu of flowers, Tabatha has requested donations to The Hope Center (Vineyard Church Food Pantry), located at1802 N. Lincoln Ave, Urbana IL 61801.
