He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Mocaby and Jean Mocaby (McNeil); and his brothers, Lyndel, George and Carl.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nova Emmons (Rod) of Thompsonville and Donna Mocaby Bach of West Frankfort; his stepchildren, Joy Campbell (Larry) of Lebanon, TN, Troy Martin of Ashley, IL and John Martin (Tracy) of Woodlawn, IL; his grandchildren, Jordan Osterhout (Lacey), Amelia Osterhout, Mason Osterhout, Morgan Osterhout, Eric Tarvin (Reeny) and Jessica Underwood (Wyatt); his great grandchildren, Lana, Weldon, Ash, Trendan and Willow; his brother Paul Mocaby (Debbie) of West Frankfort; his siblings-in-law, Rick, Carol Bragg of Hartsville, TN and Georgina Mocaby of Irvine, CA.; Tina Riley. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sloan Funeral Home (110 State St, Galatia, IL 62935). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Liberty Cemetery and will be accepted at Sloan Funeral Home.
