It is with sadness that the passing of Lisa Nerone of Williamsville, Illinois is shared. Lisa, born on June 1, 1958, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Lisa will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Lisa by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Lisa is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Lisa’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Morelock. She is survived by: her mother Eleanor Morelock (MacMurdo); her husband Alan Nerone of Williamsville; her children, Natalie Cavaligos (Steven) of Chicago, Daniel Nerone of Chicago and Zachary Nerone of Milwaukee, WI; her grandson Max Cavaligos; and her brother Joe Morelock.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home (521 N Springfield St, Virden, IL 62690). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (722 N Springfield St, Virden, IL 62690). A committal service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Virden Cemetery (19220 Cemetery Rd, Virden, IL 62690).
Memorial contributions may be made to Riverton Public Library or Williamsville Public Library.
