She is survived by: her sister Frances Koppers (late Bernard); her children, Mark Sims (late Connie), Karen Schmiege (David) and Christian Sims (Laura); and her grandchildren, Ryan Schmiege (Brianne), Jessica Lee (Michael), Alyssa Shilling (Phillip), Justin Sims, Shawn Sims, Sara Chavez (Jesus) and Elizabeth Sims.
