He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Mahr (Cindy) and John Mahr (Kim Lero); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Williams (Christopher), Heather Mahr (Eric Rodnick), Danny Mahr and Johnny Mahr; his great grandchildren, Joey and Violet; and his sister Arlene Kasenberg.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zarzycki Manor Chapels, Ltd. - Willow Springs (8999 Archer Ave, Willow Springs, IL 60480-1205). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60126).
