He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Kuffner and Eleanor M. Kuffner; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. Kuffner; his daughter Ilsa (Kody); his granddaughter Lenna; his son Erik (Karen); his grandchildren, Norah and Mason; and his daughter Elin (David).
