It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Becker Berlin (Wilmette, Illinois), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janis Becker may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Becker and Esther Becker; and her brothers, Stanley Becker (Nancy) and Lawrence Becker (Joy). She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Rachel Budwick, Hannah, Mollie and Graceanne Becker; and her daughter Janis.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home (111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091).
In lieu of flowers, we invite you to honor her memory by supporting Gilda's Club of Chicago, Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, or any charity of your choosing, as it will be a reflection of the compassion, she so effortlessly shared.
