Marlene Burgee Neben Obituary

We bid farewell to Marlene Burgee Neben of Wilmette, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Marlene Burgee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Joseph Z. Burgee, Jr. and Michael E. Neben; her siblings, Collette Russell (Charles F.) and Edward J. Sylvester Jr. Fond; and her parents, Edward Sylvester and Margaret Sylvester.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Burgee, III (Phyllis), Colette LeBrun (Charles) and Christopher Burgee (Deborah); her grandchildren, Shannon Logan (Jeffery), Colin Burgee (Samantha), Nicolette LeBrun, Michelle LeBrun, Christopher Burgee, Jr., Katherine Burgee and James Burgee; and her great grandchildren, Josephine and Jillian Logan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Church (191 Linden St, Winnetka, IL 60093). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
