The memory of Charles L. Carr of Wilmington, Illinois, born in Custer Park, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Benjamin and Arzola May Carr (Calhoun); his brothers, Edward Carr (Betty) and Roy (Mary Ruth); his son-in-law Marvin Manegold; his grandson Richard Carr; and his parents-in-law, Ora and Elsie McCaslin.
He is survived by: his wife Angie McCaslin; his children, Donald Carr (Yolanda) of Mesa and Marcia Manegold of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Jenni D'Souza (Peter), Donald Jr. Carr (Justine) and Nicole Palma (Mark); his great grandchildren, Katherine Carr, Matthew Palma, Sophia Palma, Remi Carr, Kaylee D'Souza and Quinn D'Souza; and his great great grandchild Jorah Russell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home (700 W Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made a gifts in Charles memory to his family for their distribution.
